It all began with a graduation, a wayward fringe and one very determined little dog.
When Iris graduated from the Royal College of Art, Laney—her Maltese and future co-founder of Laney & Bubble—was there to celebrate with her.
During the ceremony, Laney’s carefully styled hair came loose and fell into his eyes, causing discomfort and making them water.
He immediately turned to his mum, a fashion designer, for help, asking her to create a hair clip especially for dogs—one that would keep his hair comfortably away from his eyes, stay securely in place and still look beautiful and stylish.
That small request planted the seed for something much bigger.
The following year, Bubble joined the family. A dachshund with a natural talent in front of the camera, she adored Laney’s hair clips from the very beginning. While Laney wore his for comfort, Bubble saw them as a way to dress up, express her personality and feel part of every special occasion.
Together, the pair inspired the creation of Laney & Bubble. Through their partnership, London’s first pet brand devoted to hair clips for dogs was born.
Today, Laney & Bubble creates beautifully designed, comfortable hair clips and accessories that bring care and comfort to everyday life, while helping dogs express their individuality and feel special during life’s most meaningful moments.
